G39. Mary Ann COLCHESTER In 1851 census she was recorded as born in Needham Market and aged 27.37 She was baptised in 1837 in Barking, Suffolk.8 She was baptised late, perhaps when the vicar discovered that she hadn't been baptised when doing her brothers Robert and Samuel.41 She was probably born at 111 High Street Needham, and moved later to 19 High St. After her father died she moved with her mother to 36 Victoria Street Ipswich by the time of the 1851 census.2 In the 1871 census she was described as an annuitant, living in digs at 2 Prospect St Ipswich shared with a laundry woman.42 She was buried on 6 Jul 1874 in St Clement, Ipswich, Suffolk.41
